We are so excited about the launch of the bourbon The MAELSTROM Saga Series 4: The Last Beacon on October 9th and 10th that we decided we needed to make a glass worthy of the pour!
We are proud to announce that this beautiful glassware will be available for purchase at the Unbound Spirits tasting room beginning October 9th!
As a tasting room, Unbound Spirits can only serve a “taste” of this amazing bourbon. But after one sip you are going to want more!
If you buy a bottle and a glass, you can pour yourself a drink and enjoy it right there in the tasting room. Sit back and soak in the ambiance of this amazing space, with its abundance of historic artifacts and warm atmosphere. So make an event of it and plan to tarry a bit.
If you do, take time to raise a toast.
Maybe you will toast to a living hero like Jason Baltutis, the U.S. Navy veteran featured on the label.
Or take a moment to remember Algoma’s lost heroes, like Jack Rush, Roger Kostka, and Steve Perlewitz, who gave their lives in Vietnam and were recently honored by Ernest Haucke American Legion Post 236 in Algoma’s Legion Park.
Or maybe you will remember local hero Officer Ron Leist, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Algoma’s harbor 57 years ago on October 9th.
Whatever your reason, Alan, the tasting room manager and a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard, will guide you through the tasting process and impart his knowledge of the Unbound Spirits product line.
And through it all, you will be helping our campaign to Save The Catwalk–a historic piece of our community identity. The sale of every bottle of bourbon and every glass goes to support our Save The Catwalk effort!
Just a word of advice from those of us who love bourbon. If you don’t like it neat, bring your own ice!
